These definitions keep BUILD, BUY, White Space, evidence strength and AI trajectory machine-readable and consistent across the product.
AI Defensibility
The degree to which an opportunity's economics remain protected as AI becomes more capable, cheaper and more widely adopted.
AI Resilience
The minimum WSS standard: an opportunity remains commercially credible under substantially stronger AI rather than depending on today's AI limitations.
AI Compounding
The preferred trajectory: stronger AI increases demand, scarcity, margin potential, strategic importance or defensibility for the opportunity.
White Space
The useful commercial room that may remain before recognition, competition, incumbent response or valuation catches up with the opportunity.
BUILD Ranking
The WSS ranking of opportunities to start, create, assemble or launch, judged on buyer economics, accessibility, speed to revenue, capital efficiency, defensibility, AI trajectory and evidence.
BUY Ranking
The WSS ranking of categories of existing businesses that may become more attractive to own as AI advances, judged on cash-flow durability, acquisition attractiveness, transferability, operating leverage, defensibility, AI upside and evidence.
Challenger / Emerging
A researched opportunity with enough evidence to remain under active prosecution but not enough to displace a current ranked position. Emerging is not simply rank 11–15.
Watch
A thesis that is strategically interesting but too early, uncertain or dependent on unresolved conditions to justify a stronger state.
Daily Delta
The material-change layer. WSS records ranking, evidence or thesis changes only when new information is important enough to alter the decision state; stability is a valid outcome.
Kill Conditions
Explicit falsification conditions that would materially weaken or invalidate a thesis, such as exact competition, platform absorption, missing buyer urgency, poor economics or evidence that stronger AI removes the problem.
Conviction
The strength, directness, independence and completeness of the evidence behind a WSS judgment.
Opportunity Quality
The attractiveness of the opportunity itself after economics, competition, execution, AI trajectory and risk are considered.
